Bambi Uganda Orphans Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Fundraiser -
Bambi Uganda Orphans is hosting a wine tasting and silent auction at Total Wine and More in Fairfax, VA located in the GreenBriar Shopping center on June 2, 2012. We will be sampling 8 different wines carefully selected for our event from the Southern Hemisphere!
The cost for the event is $35 per person and includes a souvenir wine glass. We have a ton of great silent auction items including gift certificates for local restaurants, theatre tickets, hand carved wooden artifacts from Uganda, artwork and photography, a custom bamboo bicycle, jewlery, wine baskets, sports memorobilia and much more!
The proceeds raised at this event will be used to: improve the lives of Uganda’s
orphans, their guardians and the larger community; meet immediate health and nutrition needs by providing food and medicine; help orphans and their foster families develop life skills and become self-sufficient; fund activities that directly improve the health, education, human rights and overall quality of life of orphans and their communities; and support projects that advance the rights of and opportunities for Ugandan girls.
