Direct from Italy, Bootie is proud to present a rare U.S. appearance from Italian DJ/production duo, DJs From Mars, infamous not only for bringing the mashup aesthetic into electro-house, but also for their trademark cartoon cardboard box heads, which they wear while playing live. In only a few short years, they have become one of the biggest names in the global mashup scene, with over 10 million views on YouTube. With over 70 official remixes and six dozen bootlegs (and counting) to their name, DJs From Mars are determined to bring their "electro alien mashup pop" to the world!
At 11 PM, Bootie's house band Smash-Up Derby takes to the stage for a set of live rock mashups, while resident DJs A Plus D hold it down between For the Midnight Mashup Show, Haus of Vicious makes its Bootie debut and finally, in the upstairs room, it's SQURRRL, as DJs Papa Tony, Bill Dupp, and Trevor Sigler -- along with host Danyol -- present a nutty night of house, electro, and breaks, with plenty of funk in-between.
