Midsomer Norton Business Group Networking Event -
A new networking group hoping to bring business people and entrepreneurs together in Midsomer Norton has now launched.
Midsomer Norton Business Networking Group has been set up by James Burfield, who aims to gather together different types of businesses in an informal setting to generate exciting new ideas to help the town's High Street thrive.
Mr Burfield said: "As the recession continues throughout Britain and the world, it would be fair to say that high street businesses need as much help as they can get to achieve success. This is not your usual high pressure, hard selling networking group. For starters, it's completely free to attend. Attendees won't have to present to the group."
This group is focused on local business people getting together to chat about how to make Midsomer Norton a great place to do business. The aim is to help put money back into the local economy.
The group will meet once a month, taking place at No 6 Restaurant.
Refreshments will be sponsored by Mr Burfield's web marketing company Burfield Creative.
Although attendees are not required to present business ideas, Mr Burfield will be sharing some of his own initiatives and hold a talk on SEO.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 31st May 2012, from 5pm to 6.30pm, at No 6 Restaurant, The Island, Midsomer Norton BA3 2HQ. Attendance is free and all local business people are welcome.
