The 2012 Plasticine Olympics
Thursday 9th August & Friday 10th August, 10am - 3pm. Suitable for ages 7-10
Ever wanted to run the 100 metres, throw a javelin and take a high jump. Well using stop motion plasticine animation we will be recreating our very own mini Olympics with award ceremony.
Thursday...
Session One:
We begin with an introduction to animation and screening of a collection of award winning plasticine animated shorts.
Then we will begin your introduction to the project, followed by building plasticine puppets.
Session Two:
All about constructing Plasticine puppets and animating puppets.
Friday...
Session One:
All about animation.
Session Two:
This session covers post production, creating sound and film credits; followed by the all important screening of the film.
