In this Special Election Edition of “The Complete History of America (abridged),” the R.S.C. will provide you with historical hilarity guaranteed to register laughs with every American voter. Just in time for the 2012 Presidential Elections, the Reduced Shakespeare Company returns with 600 Years of History in 6000 seconds! The "bad boys of abridgment" go from revolution to evolution, from Intelligent Design to crazy campaign promises, from the Boston Tea Party to Occupy Wall Street, from the Bering Straits to Baghdad, from New World to New World Order, from the Great Depression to...well, let's just pretend it's not happening, shall we? It's hysterical, historical, a ninety minute roller-coaster ride through the glorious quagmire that is American History. And hold onto your tricorn hats! In this Special Election Edition, the presidential nominees themselves will answer any and all audience questions! Who really discovered America? How old was John McCain at the beginning of the Civil War? How many Democrats does it take to screw in a light-bulb? History is normally written by the winners... now it's the RSC's turn.
