Vocals October 2012 - Singing Days for Primary School Children
6th, 7th and 14th October 2012
Our Vocals! courses are weekend singing events for children of primary school age. For this event we will be singing favourites from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory including The Candy Man, Pure Imagination and Oompa Loompa.
Our Vocals events regularly attract over 200 singers and provide the opportunity to experience the thrill of singing as part of a mass choir at the Nottingham Albert Hall and the chance to sing as part of smaller ensembles.
There are no auditions and copies of the music and a rehearsal CD are sent to singers beforehand so that they can begin practising in their own time. The children are carefully supervised and conducted by specialist leaders who have a fun approach to singing and give everyone the chance to perform a variety of music in a friendly and secure atmosphere.
The event takes place at Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus on the 6th & 7th October and the Nottingham Albert Hall on the 14th October.
